Baldwin Homes uses Pella windows and doors for Crabtree Estate renovation

Published on

Baldwin Homes, Inc. a custom homebuilder and remodeler in Maryland, and K.C. Company, Inc. renovated the Crabtree Estate this past spring. This well-known home sits alongside the Severn River in Annapolis, MD. K.C.'s Trade Representative, Concetta Sipes, worked with Mike Baldwin of Baldwin Homes to bring new life to this outdated waterfront home.

“This was a labor of love for each company”, said KC Company’s Sipes. “The fantastic working relationship we had on this project reflects the high standards and commitment we have when working with all construction companies and architects.” In relation to responsibilities, Baldwin Homes remodeled the exterior of the home while Pella changed all of the windows and doors on the house. The homeowner and Baldwin chose to use a Hardie plank siding for longevity of the exterior of the home that is storm resistant with a wonderful finish.

Window styles used on this project included double hung and casements from the Pella Wood 450 Series with a Poplar White exterior aluminum clad color. The patio doors were also switched out using Pella's Architect Series French Patio doors  to enhance the view of the river and keep the wood look consistent throughout the home.
